NAMSS was first formed in California in 1978. At its founding, there were 20 members who participated in the first organizational meeting. Today, NAMSS has grown to include over 5,500 Medical Staff Professionals from all 50 states and abroad! In this time, NAMSS has instituted a successful Annual Conference that brings its members together for education and networking each fall and has continuously run a print, and now electronic, publication, Synergy, to bring news and education to all members.
